History
  • 2001: Founding of MICROS Präzisionsoptik GmbH & Co. KG (Schmiedefeld/Thüringen).
  • 2002: Construction and furnishing of a sales office (Rennerod/Rheinland-Pfalz).
  • 2003: Expansion of the production area to 600 m2 for double-sided plan preparation.
  • 2004: Founding of MICROS Coatings GmbH & Co. KG (Hermsdorf/Thüringen). 
  • 2005: Construction of administration facilities. Expansion of the production area to 1,000 m2. 
  • 2006: Introduction of long-face production, optics up to 3,200 mm long. 
  • 2008: Construction of a new production hall. Expansion of the production area to 2,200 m2, Introduction of large surface area production, optics up to Ø 1,600 mm. 
  • 2009: Relocation of MICROS Coatings to Schmiedefeld/Thüringen. 
  • 2010: Expansion of double-sided plan preparation to 40%. 
  • 2011: 10-year anniversary of MICROS Präzisionsoptik GmbH & Co. KG. 
  • 2012: Certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 from TÜV [Technical Control Board] Hessen. 
  • 2013: Construction of a new sales office(Rennerod/Rheinland-Pfalz). 
  • 2014: Change of company name from MICROS Präzisionsoptik GmbH & Co. KG and MICROS Coatings GmbH & Co. KG to MICROS Optics GmbH & Co. KG. Expansion of the production area to 2,700 m2.
